Some elements interpret Holy Qur’an as they want: Altaf

KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has said that some elements interpret and explain the Holy Qur’an the way they want and people who are not aware of actual explanation take it as correct.

In his telephonic address at a convention of Ulema and Mashaikh here on Sunday, the MQM Chief said the convention has been organized to discuss a very important subject which is becoming cause of problem of the oppressed population of the country.“People are scared of the situation in Swat,” he said, adding, the purpose of the holding the convention is to get guidance and opinion of the Ulema.He said use of Mosques for creating sectarianism is absolutely unjustified and wrong.
