Dollar stable against rupee

Updated at: 2115 PST, Wednesday, April 22, 2009 KARACHI: Stability in dollar value was witnessed against rupee in the open market on Wednesday and it closed at Rs80.70. In the inter bank market dollar lost paisas two against rupee and closed at Rs80.59. British pound finished the day at Rs118.30; Canadian dollar Rs65.30; Kuwaiti dinar Rs274; Japanese yen Rs0.835; euro Rs104.70 Saudi riyal Rs21.43 and UAE dirham Rs21.95.
